We have offering bee control for years in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. Bees are a very important part of the environment and are a necessary part of agriculture. The last few years, the bee population has taken a big hit with some years at a 50% reduction!

Our method of bee control is to make sure first to try to save the bees. We are well-known for taking this approach while others do not care and exterminate regardless of circumstance.

The Queen Bee and Female Workers

The average beehive contains some 30,000 bees! Most of the bees are female workers. There is only one queen per hive. With the high volumenous amount of bees, it is difficult to find the queen. Many times novice beekeepers mistake the oversized male drone for the queen. The queen usually stays near the brood.

Proper bee control is imperative if we are going to save our environment. Most of the time it is possible to save the bees.

I find this type of a hive a few times a year. When bees form a hive outside a wall void or tree, they are called feral hives.

Bees will make their home in some wierd places! This beehive was probably in transition while looking for a permenant place.
